March has been a busy month for WORKPRO with the participation in two important trade fairs: ProLight+Sound, held as every year in Frankfurt, and Salón AFIAL 2014, the most important spanish trade fair for the professional audio and lighting sector, held in Madrid. These two scenes have been chosen to introduce ARION 5, the new line array system which has joined the ARION Series, and UDA 16, the new column with line array shape which compendium of features provides many advantages for audio installations. These and other new products join the rest of WORKPRO products to follow a specific goal: offer innovative and smart solutions to cover every kind of need and installation.
At ProLight+Sound, held in Messe Frankfurt from the 12th to 15th March where more than 110.000 people attended, those who visited WORKPRO?s booth were able to find out about a new subwoofer Series composed of 15/Z15A and Z18/Z18A, specially design for bass reinforce. Additionally, visitors had the opportunity to meet other enhanced products of the brand, such as BlueLine Digital System, an audio transmission system over IP that now offers up to 64 different channels to transmit audio besides paging and alarm function. Thanks to its compatibility with OSC protocol it is possible to control the system through iOS and Android mobile devices (smartphones and tablets). The brand took advantage of this event to introduce also three new lifters for line array systems: WT 150, WT 550 and WT 700. This last reference can lift up at 6.5 m. a load of 500 kg.
Salón AFIAL 2014
This important national event is organised by AFIAL, the association which integrates manufacturers and distributors of the professional audio and lighting sector in Spain. This year, for the first time, the trade fair was held at Madrid Arena. The event in general and WORKPRO products in particular were warmly welcomed by the visitors, who filled up the booth during the three days of the trade fair.
For this occasion, Equipson organised a technical talk about ?New audio, lighting and live video management systems?, which tackled different subject such as audio and lighting remote control with iOS and Android devices, TCP/IP public address systems or the new Magic HD, the integrated media server that Chamsys recently launched.
WORKPRO also got involved in other activities of this event, like the outdoor demos where visitors could find out about the performance and features of different audio systems. WORK Lifters, the lifter division of the brand, sponsored this activity by providing the lifting towers to lift the audio systems. The purpose of this activity was to offer the attendees a more practical and dynamic view of the products in order to complement the exhibition area.
In brief, March has been a month full of presentations of new products, networking, gathering of impressions and evaluations of clients and professionals, and an opportunity to think about new ideas to develop in the following months.
