That?s a fact, the software EASE has converted itself into the new standard for acoustic simulation in closed and opened spaces. This software, developed by the AFMG German company (http://ease.afmg.eu/), is today the most used tool by engineers to evaluate and predict acoustic performance in a determined area.How does the EASE software work and why using it?
In order to use the software, it is necessary to provide information about the site (CAD, absorption coefficients of the surfaces, etc) and indicate how loudspeakers react. To obtain this information, loudspeaker manufacturers need to measure precisely dispersion for each model (using anechoic chambers), using as much points of reference around the loudspeaker as possible. This valuable work allows to simulate the behaviour of a loudspeaker at any frequency and for any dimensions: this is definitely the best way to know how to positionate and orientate your loudspeaker in the installation, getting optimum results.Take advantage of EASE with your loudspeakers and ceiling speakers WORK.
Over the last months, the WORK team has been working on this project to provide these data to customers. They are available in the AFMG database, so users who update their loudspeakers library will automatically get them. The following loudspeakers and ceiling speakers are included: NEO 3, NEO 4, NEO 5 and 5A, NEO 6 and 6A, NEO 8, RCS 001, RCS 002, RCS 003, IC 50 T, IC 60 T, IC 80 T, IC4 PRO and IC6 PRO.
Files can also be downloaded from the Equipson website (www.equipson.es) or through this direct link (this file only includes EASE files released on the 25/07/2012). Engineers and consultants can already use these files for their own projects, taking advantage of this powerful software.
